WEEK 1: Introduction

Working as a Pocketnest Intern week 1: June 15th-June 21st    Pocketnest is a company that makes financial planning easier for people. The app is entirely free, and accessible.  I personally never used a financial planning app before, so this is a cool company to work with, considering I will be learning more than just the expected workload. I met with the founder Jessica Willis, as well as the other team members. I felt incredibly welcomed  and comfortable talking to them. I was very nervous to break out of my shell and talk to people. This is something I knew I would face during this internship, but something I am excited to work on and succeed. I was assigned 2 projects to start off with. One being a 30 second demo video to post on their website, and the other project involves video creation for the Pockenest app. Since this internship is currently held remotely, all videos must be done using graphics. I have never worked entirely with graphics before, so this is very new to me. I h
